This 1984 San Lorenzo SL75 Motor Yacht is a large Italian-built cruising yacht from one of the world’s most recognised luxury yacht builders. Hand-built in Italy using traditional mahogany and ply construction with fibreglass over ply, this vessel was built to European survey standards and is believed to be one of only two of this year and model remaining worldwide, with the other understood to be located overseas.

The current owner has owned and operated the vessel for approximately 12 years. Powered by twin Detroit 12V71 diesel engines showing approximately 3,300 hours, the vessel is fitted with features including bow thruster, fly-by-wire controls, hydraulic steering, Onan generator, and onboard electronics. The vessel carries approximately 4,500 litres of fuel and 1,500 litres of water. Approximate cruising speed is reported at 8 knots with a maximum speed of approximately 20 knots. Fuel consumption is reported at approximately 40 litres per hour at cruising speed.

The vessel is currently registered in Queensland (STT24Q). A water maker is fitted onboard; however, it is currently dismantled. The vessel’s engines start and drive, and the generator and air conditioning systems operate at the time of inspection.

The vessel is showing age and wear consistent with its construction and vintage. The side decks require attention and are known to leak, with photos of damaged deck areas included within the listing. Areas of teak and timber trim/work require attention, and some window seals leak around the frames. Wear and cracking above the waterline to the hull is also evident in various locations.
